Depends: I presume you were given xanax (alprazolam) for treatment of anxiety. If you have an anxiety disorder, it will still be there after the xanax (alprazolam) is gone. There are other treatments for anxiety disorders besides xanax (alprazolam), both with and without medication. It is important to seek help from a professional to sort out your options.
