No, control only: Ichthyosis is an inherited disorder as you mentioned and like most inherited disorders not curable. However there are treatments that can improve the feel and appearance of the skin. Therapy usually consists of creams that contain urea or lactic acid. For instance there is a otc product called "amlactin" that might be helpful. See your dermatologist for newer treatment options.
