Tendinitis: Hand pain can be secondary to inflammation of the tendons, and ligaments. It may be over use, arthritis, or rheumatologic. Depending on other symptoms, you may also have nerve compression such as carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel, or cervical radiculopathy.
