A few things: Sinus infection, high blood pressure, blood thinners, problems with nasal anatomy, etc. Can cause bleeding. Addressing any of these can help. Otherwise, avoid trauma (aggressive nose blowing, picking) and moisturize with otc saline spray and vaseline. Basic treatment: pinch nostrils, lean head forward, use decongestant nasal spray (afrin) only for severe bleed. See an ENT doc if it does not stop.
