cough when in contact with cold air. after spitting out the mucous, it goes away. how do i stop the cough completely?

Cough: Your cough may go away on its own.. It takes a while for the lungs to completely recover but if there is any question see your doctor. Some patients need antibiotics, inhalers, etc.
