Depends: If you can do it cleanly and effectively, then ok & watch for signs of infection. Clean site and needle or pin with alcohol or antibacterial soap, poke top & express blood to flatten top to skin underneath. Topical antibiotics and bandaid. Keep clean & dry. See dr if increased redness around area.
