Hyperpigmentation: There are many causes for dark spots on the skin - from fungal infections, benign or malignant growths or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. When there is any injury to the skin (acne, rash, trauma) some people heal with a dark spot remaing known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I would have to know more about these black marks to be able to help.
