Is it possible for there to be long term problems from having colds or other problems continually? my new job gets me sick a lot (children).

Immunity: If your life has kept you out of close contact with kids for a while & you get back in close contact, a period of frequent colds & occasional other issues is common. After about 6 mo or a year, your immune system should become renewed & you will experience less frequent episodes of symptomatic illness. You may continue to carry the same germs as the kids but will be sick less often.
