Winter- : Winter weather is usually drier and that type of dry throat could just be the time of year. But if you are having any other symptoms, urinating more, increased thirst or hunger - you definitely need to be seen by md to evaluate and check labs - to rule out things metabolically like diabetes that can cause increase thirst which you might be interpreting as "dry mouth".
