Yes: A pinched nerve in the neck most commonly causes pain, usually starting in the side/back of the neck and then radiating down the arm. Numbness in the fingers, hand, and forearm can also occur, as well as weakness in the arm. Not all patients have all three symptoms. The pattern of pain, numbness, and weakness can predict which nerve is being pinched. Your C6 nerve is likely involved.
