Hard to explain: In limited space. You are describing neurocardiogenic (vasovagal) syncope in which the heart rate inappropriately slows down for a variety of reasons. The common pathway is transient loss of blood flow to the brain and a hard reset of the system. If you continue to stand you may pass out.
