I have small cyst like ball under skin on ball of foot, slightly bruised. very painful. i woke up with it. what could it be?

A NUMBER OF THINGS: If it is fluid-filled, it may be a superficial abscess, or foreign body reaction. Cysts usually do not develop right under the skin, they're usually deeper. They are also rare on the bottom of the feet. It could also be a type of callus which has gotten inflamed. It is probably best to have it checked.

See a podiatrist: It could. Be a wart or blood blister. You need a n exam to determine what it is.
