Yes: Sharp headaches precipitated by a positional change in a healthy 20 year old is something to bay seriosu attention to. It may reflect a cervical spine problem or something else - this needs to be dianosed by a doctor. Dont delay - the instinct to get medical attention for this was quite correct.

Depends: Depends on how long it has been going on, whether other head/neck/arm symptoms, and whether it is getting worse. Likely due to a pinched nerve in the neck that gets irritated with certain neck movements. At your age, usually not arthritic. Physical therapy or chiropractic could help, but wise to be checked out first before trying anything other than some gentle neck stretching exercises.
