May have no symptoms: If it was caught early and removed completely, you have a good chance of it never coming back. Nets can cause symptoms, or they can be silent, non-functional tumors. So the best way to improve your odds is to get a ct or MRI every 6 months to check for recurrence - which occurs most commonly in the liver. If it does come back, repeat surgery may be possible.

Complicated: The prognosis of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor depends on the type of cell involved and what the tumor looks like under the microscope. The pathology report should mention the differentiation of the tumor and the proliferation index. A well differentiated tumor with a low proliferation index is associated with the lowest recurrence and best outcomes. Symptoms vary depending on the type.
