See Eye MD: Depends on how deep. You could have a contusion(no laceration) or as bad as a laceration. The latter can be superficial all the way to a perforation. So it is necessary to call an eye md for an evaluation now. Your visual prognosis depends on how serious the injury is. Please make an appointment or go to the er.

Minor or serious: It could be minor with no injury at all, or more serious. A superficial injury to the conjunctiva or partially into the sclera can be treated with antibiotic drops to prevent infection. A very serious injury could result if the sharp scissors penetrated thru the sclera to the inside of your eye. An ophthalmologist can carefully examine your eye to determine the extent of injury.
