Im sure im pregnant but not getting picked up on yrine test, will a blood test definatly work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, w/i 7 days: The most effective time to take a urine hpt is 7 days after your expected menstrual cycle. A urine hpt could be falsely negative if tested too early. A blood test will be more sensitive, detecting pregnancy up to a week before expected period. However, you may need two tests to make sure your HCG levels are increasing. In the meantime, consider taking Folic Acid supplements just in case!
