Tinnitus: Most likely this is a sound coming from the auditory portion of the inner ear, and might represent a reaction to prior loud noises, such as a rock concert. Rarely, vascular sounds may be transmitted from heart or neck vessels, and even more unusual are congenital vascular malformations in brain. No cause for concern, but get your ears checked out by otolaryngologist.
