Great Question: Lumps, bumps and ball like finding that are observed by patients are best diagnosed by a visit to your local dentist or physician.Having a history relating when you first observed it, if it changes in size or tenderness and if it has changed in texture would help the observing doctor determine the origin of the findings. Although you report that it has been present your whole life, go see your md.
