Influenza Flu: Body aches are frequent symptoms of the flu and this maybe the reason the baby is cranky. If you are giving Acetaminophen (tylenol) to control the fever, this should help. I would stop giving the Cheratussin to both children. You can try Vicks vaporub sparingly on the 2-year-old's chest. Tamiflu (oseltamivir) maybe causing the irritability as well as a possible ear infection. Get your 6 mo checked again.
