Yes: If the crib is big enough so that the child can move around as he gets bigger there is no reason not to use it. Of course as with any crib there must not be any space that the child's head or parts of the body could be caught. Also no cushions or pillows that the face cooudl be covered or could be put into.

Yes: Make sure it is safe and the appropriate size for your baby. Check the mattress, as many models of travel cribs provide a very thin one. Many online vendors sell the thicker travel crib mattresses that may be more comfortable for your baby. Avoid anything else in the crib like pillows, blankets a baby may become entangled in and toys. Check always for recalls and safety issues with your crib.

No: It is safe for a baby to sleep in a travel crib all the time only if the crib was safe when new (meaning no safety recalls by the government or manufacturer), if the crib is set up correctly so that it cannot collapse, and if the parents frequently and thoroughly inspect the crib for wear-and-tear or other damage. Travel cribs are made for temporary use, so they get damaged more easily.

Yes: As long as it is safe and provides enough room for the baby to move, it should present no problem.
