Eczema is best considered as a lifelong difference in the way your skin reacts to environmental agents. It has heavy genetic input & relates to other conditions like asthma and food allergies (which can occur in up to 30% of eczema patients). A skin care plan you work out with your doc or dermatologist should increase/decrease therapy as the problem varies. Don't expect a cure.
