Only minimal effects: Iron deficiency itself has little effect on weight loss, and is easy to correct with iron tablets.If it is severe it can lead to anemia which causes fatigue and weakness which certainly will decrease ability to exercise. Find out why you are iron deficiency (usually heavy periods for young women), if so see a doctor for the periods and get some iron replacement.
