Confusing question: One does not treat hepatitis b with a vaccination. If one has completed the Hepatitis B Vaccine series, antibodies in the blood prevent a new exposure from causing active disease. Testing the blood should show protective antibodies. If a person has hepatitis b, the vaccine would not be a benefit.
