we stay in india. my mother is 51 and has trouble digesting food. stomach bloats and burps n feel like vomit. apetite is low. pl suggest cure.

Stomach upset: If not native to india or have been away for a time consider the bacteria changes in foods. If native to india but having symptoms consider reflux. Try Pepcid or zantac (ranitidine) or prevacid. Both Pepcid and zantac (ranitidine) can give immediate relief of reflux sx.

Good food: The easiest way to improve digestion, reduce weight, cholesterol, is by completely stopping grains, lentils, potatoes based items. Also avoid milk protein (milk, yogurt, cheese) since it causes indigestion. Healthy food items such as eggs, fish, chicken, meats, vegetables, some saturated fat (butter, ghee, coconut oil), olive oil are very effective. Take a probiotic daily.
