A member asked:

If i feel vertigo on turning to right hand side then which ear is effected left ear or right ear?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on cause: If your vertigo is due to your inner ear, it is the relative mismatch in activity that leads to the vertigo. If you have benign positional vertigo, you will get vertigo when lying flat with your head turned towards the affected ear. If you have a uncompensated weaker inner ear, you will fall towards the weaker side. You need not have vertigo.
