If we are sure that the partner is hiv negative, then will it be safe to have oral sex?

Std testing : Oral sex is a common practice. If you and your partner are monogamous and have been tested for all sexually transmitted diseases then this is a safe practice. Great that you had HIV testing but you need the others too.

Other diseases: Syphilis and gonorrhea are both very frequently transmitted in this way. Unlike hviv, they are curable. But why not use barrier protection? Loving should be a present joy and a future pleasant memory, not a source of anxiety now and perhaps anger later. Use a good barrier protection method now, and perhaps until you're truly a committed couple, just our of respect for one another.

?don't know: Hiv is just one infection that can be transmitted sexually through body fluids. Hepatitis and herpes for exsample are toher conditions that can be transmitted. Knowing your partner, monogamy, and a full battery of all possible infectious diseases that can be transnitted through oral sex is the only way to say it "safe" to have oral sex.
