Yes: It has been shown that weight loss will improve the chance of getting pregnant. However, it is difficult to quantify how much improvement. Considering your age, 2-3 ivf is a reasonable number of getting pregnant. Our center offer a 3 mini ivf cycle package may fit your needs. We do accept out of state patients. Improved : Obesity and ivf success rates have a negative correlation. As body weight/bmi increases, ivf success rates decrease. It is not all-or-none. Successful ivf can still occur in obese women, just at a lower chance compared to women of normal weight. In addition, the greater the obesity, the greater the negative effect on ivf success rates. Thus, any weight loss in obese women may be beneficial.
