No, it is not: Doxylamine and diphenhydramine are both in same class of drugs - the antihistamines, which are often used for sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and sometimes allergic reactions - but are not the same drug. However, both drugs are have a sedating effect and therefore may cause drowsiness.
