14 days before: Ovulation occurs 14 days before the next menstrual cycle. This is the best time to have intercourse. Using a calendar is very unreliabl. If you trying to get pregnant use an over the counter ovulation kit. If you are trying to avoid intercourse please start birth control and use condoms.
