Low-dose Elavil (amitriptyline): Amitriptylene in low dose, often at bedtime, can be very useful in pain syndromes like vestibulodynia. You may sleep better at night, and may experience less pain. You may have some dry mouth, and constipation is a possibility too unless you're watchful about drinking water & eating your veggies and fiber. Talk with your doctor about these things.
