Pinched nerve: Sounds like you sprained the spine, and have symptoms consistent with a pinched nerve to the lower back. The cause of pinched nerves include, disk herniations, bone spurs, and more alarming causes such as broken bones, cancer, or infection. Based on your age, and if you are otherwise healthy, it is most likely a herniated disk. But to be sure, please have an evaluation by a physican.
