Contagious : Scabies is an easily spread skin disease caused by a very small species of mite. It is contagious , if you are diagnosed with this disease than seek treatment , once treatment is over and you clean up your clothings, bed mattress than no chance to get again. If you have something on legs, you should see your physician before you come in conclusion

Mite parasite...: Scabies is a contagious skin infection caused by the mite sarcoptes scabiei. The mite is a tiny and usually not directly visible parasite, which burrows under the host's skin, causing intense allergic itching. The disease may be transmitted from objects but is most often transmitted by direct skin-to-skin contact, with a higher risk with prolonged contact. See a doctor for proper treatment.
