Seek cause: Psychological factors may play in, but there are dozens of real medical illnesses that are frequently missed. Anemia, iron deficiency not yet anemia, carbon monoxide in the home, thyroid disease, addison's (don't miss this one / simmonds'), polymyalgia rheumatica, early lupus / rheumatoid arthritis, lyme disease. We have general physicians to investigate these possibilities as appropriate.
