Depends.: Splenic rupture without trauma is unusual and does not typically give a burning sensation. Risk of rupture is really related to the reason your spleen is enlarged and how enlarged it is. Neoplasms, infections, inflammatory diseases and drugs lead the list. You might be at a slightly increased risk because of your age, but again your baseline risk seems low and symptoms are not worrisome.
