Enema: My first question would be why you need the enemas in the first place. What is the cause of your constipation? Have you tried other medications such as miralax (polyethylene glycol)? The underlying cause of your constipation would determine the proper treatment. For example if you had pelvic floor dysfunction the treatment is not classic medications but rather biofeedback.
