Does gabapentin cause slowing of mind /thoughts /speed of problem solving alongside the function of causing fatigue?

Not unusual: Gabapentin side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, and general asthenia, so would not be unique to experience a feeling of intellectual slowing. Drug does not directly cause a dementia, but could make one feel a bit "stupid". You may get used to it, but discuss with your doctor.

Yes: Gabapentin can cause cognitive problems and these issues can occasionally be serious enough to discontinue the med.
