i am having sharp pain to the rear and under my right rib cage. pain is intense. thoughts?

More info?: At rest? With exertion? Does it hurt to breathe or have pressure on ribs on right? If so, should be checked out by pcp. Could be liver or irritation of diaphragm. Could be as simple as intercostal muscle strain between ribs.
