I have observed colleagues having similar mood and behaviour at work. what's the reason beyond this? has this got something to do with bio rhythms?

Too vague: It's hard to know from your question exactly what sort of similarities you're observing. One possible explanation would be mirror neurons another simple social pressure to conform.
