May not be cured?: Piles is another term for hemorrhoids. This is usually internal hemorrhoids though some will say external hemorrhoids are piles. This is a "varicose vein" of the anal area. It is treated with hot sitz baths, topical like "preparation-h", other topicals, prescribed medications like corticosteroid creams/suppositories, witch hazel compresses and maybe surgery. See pcp, colorectal surgeon, etc.
