Referred pain: When you say hurts my scalp, is it a headache? Like "brainfreeze" effect after drinking a very cold drinks fast? At times pain in the roof of the mouth (palatal region) refers pain to the head region. Also, there are cases of mixed innervations.

Question?: Do you frequently touch your head after or while eating? Some people have habits they do not even realize, that combined with a dry scalp would make sense that your scalp hurts when eating spicy food? May be too simplistic for a more serious problem so i would consult your md for further evaluation.
