Referred pain: When you say irritates my scalp, is it a headache? Like "brainfreeze" effect after drinking a very cold drinks fast? At times pain in the roof of the mouth (palatal region) refers pain to the head region. Also, there are cases of mixed innervations. A neurologist can help you in that case. Try avoiding spicy food for now.
