Hip pain for my mother?

Hip pain: We need more information. Such as is she stiff when she starts walking. Where is the pain located. Is there any locking or catching. Has she tried anti inflammatories or exercises. Any recent trauma? If her pain is significant then i would have her see her orthopedist.

X-ray : Agree, she needs a history, physical exam, and an x-ray before any real advice can be given.
