FUNCTION?: Recovery from a hip fracture depends on mulitple elements , firstly, how was her premorbid functional status? Was she independent in all her actvities of daily living? Quick transfer to a rehab facility post op is very important, as is minimal delay to the operating room to fix the fracture in the beginning.
