Thumb Pain: This can be a condition called dequervains tenosinovitis ( just an inflammed tendon) see your doctor, there is a quick test that can help diagnose this. It that's the case, warm compresses, NSAID therapy , wrist/thumb splints usually help relieve the symptoms without needing more aggressive therapies.
