Benefits: I agree with dr. Bansal. Eating dark chocolate which is bitter provides high concentrations of flavanols (antioxidants). It can help to reduce cholesterol levels & protect from heart & liver disease. It may reduce feeling stressed & help to control appetite. However, I have not seen any studies citing improvement in cough.
