A member asked:

How long should i expect the pudenal nerve block to last, last time relief was only for a little over a week.

It depends: A nerve block with only a local anesthetic typically lasts hours, not days. If other medications were used, such as steroid medications, the effect can last days to weeks. You should discuss what drugs were given in the block with your physician and what the expected time course of pain relief might be.

Depends of : The local anesthetic can last hours to half a day. Anti-inflammatory steroid can allow the block to last longer (possibly weeks even).
