Worth a try: This is a state of the art process where by your surgeon will harvest bone marrow from a different site than your hip. The specimen is sent to rms regrow lab where they isolate the bone forming cells called osteoblasts and then culture them for 4 weeks. The final specimen contains about 12 million osteoblasts. These osteoblasts are then injected in to the site of your avascular necrosis.
