Get an Exam: Your daughter's eye should be examined by an ophthalmologist to determine if any chemical damage has taken place on the surface of the eye. Rinsing the eye out with water was the best initial treatment. Chemical burns, epithelial corneal or conjunctival damage may require treatment.
