Very unlikely: If its been chronic and somewhat stable for two years it is not lung cancer since lung cancer would typically grow much quicker causing it to spread and this develop more symptoms as well as the worsening of the symptoms previously experienced. Many other causes of back pain that would b much more likely. If at high risk for lung cancer, such as a long smoking history, talk to md about screening.
