I recently came up with this headache & when it starts it last for like a day.. i've tried painkillers but that's only a temporary solution. any idea?

A migraine typically is a severe headache that can cause nausea, visual flashing lights, irritability to bright lights and loud sounds. There are good prescription meds for it. If there are any symptoms of prolonged neurological symptoms like weakness, imbalance, or speech problem you should see a neurologist to be diagnosed.
